The word
At writer's group Tuesday night, we discussed how things become evident, when they become evident. Let me see if I can explain. Have you ever noticed that when you see something for the first time and really like it you seem to see it all the time after that? For example, you see that new dark blue Charger and LOVE it. You have never seen one that color before and it looked so sleek and sexy. You want one and then, everywhere you look, there is that dark blue Charger.
It is the same with the word sanctification. I started this blog because the word had become evident to me as an area I was lacking paying attention to and working toward. Then, and since, I seem to see evidence of it everywhere. I talk with friends and example of our sanctification finds itself sitting there with us. I drive along in the car and listen to my tunes and there is sanctification in the passenger seat. I find that even though I thought I wasn't really growing in my faith and my devotion, examples of it creep up on me and startle me with the reality that I really am growing. Such a blessing.
I pray you, too, are finding evidence of your sanctification just sitting there beside you.
